The spotted eagle ray, known scientifically as Aetobatus narinari, is a captivating marine species found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. Distinctive for its graceful, flat body and long, whip-like tail, this ray is easily recognizable due to its unique pattern of white spots on a dark background.
Spotted eagle rays inhabit sandy beds, coral reefs, and coastal areas, often seen gliding gracefully through the water. They can reach lengths of up to 10 feet and are known for their remarkable swimming ability, which allows them to leap from the water in spectacular displays.

The Rubico case construction 

Steel X Carbon Strength
We start with a Rubcio customized steel case. We brush finish the case to perfection then add 3 microns of PVD coating. Premium forged carbon is a key material in our watch cases, offering a unique blend of strength and lightweight properties. This advanced composite material is created by heating and compressing carbon fibers, resulting in a structure that is not only visually striking but also exceptionally durable. The use of forged carbon enhances the aesthetic appeal of our timepieces while providing superior resistance to scratches and impacts. We accomplish this double case (Steel & Carbon) while keeping a 300 Meter depth case water resistance.

Carbon Rerun Material

Carbon reruns are an added option on all new 2025 Diver purchases. Carbon reruns leave Austin Tx every November 1st in route to Switzerland for an overhaul of the existing case to a new carbon selected by you at checkout. This offer is only good to use before the closest November 1st. If unused there is no credit given. Each option has its own two carbon rerun options. These options were selected by Rico and are strict to the designed release.
